BIKE-BIKE-PACKING

Bikepacking allows us to design adventures starting from our doorstep. FROM ØKRE WE PROPOSE 2 ROUTES DESIGNED FROM A MAP OR MODIFIED TO OUR TASTE TO MAKE THEM UNIQUE. IT'S THE MAGIC that FREEDOM ON WHEELS gives us.

CICLOTURISMO

bikepacking...spicy

We didn't invent the route. We reinterpreted it.

The Devil's Track already exists, but we bring it into our own:

Ultralight bikepacking, bivouac nights, and a more rock'n'roll approach, where we prioritize descents, even with loaded bikes.

A route that crosses La Garrotxa, delves into Ripollès, and winds through the inland Empordà, linking dormant volcanoes, dense forests, and dreamlike trails that force you to stop more than once just to look around.

A territory dominated by singletracks, sections where dropping the seatpost is mandatory, climbs done at your own pace, or sometimes on foot, and descents that bring a smile even with a loaded bike.

Discreet enduro, free spirit, and a constant feeling of being far away... without going too far.

A route to sleep little, pedal a lot, and come back wanting more.

This is the Devil's Track, which, true to its name, leaves no one indifferent.

A route dominated by trails, steep slopes, technical areas, and the need for full suspension. A demanding route that will test you in every way. It's an incredible region to ride through and experience the purity of its nature.

A journey through Mediterranean borders

This trip originated from a simple motivation: to keep exploring by bike. We designed the route to always pass through towns, with regular access to food and water, avoiding sections where logistics would become a constant concern.

From Andorra to the Croatian coast, the route links secondary roads and quiet paths that allow for continuous cycling, without feeling like you're always at your limit. We weren't looking for the perfect route, but one that would work day after day.

We slept by combining campsites with private gardens located along the route, in addition to some nights of wild camping which presented no problems. The Park4Night app was key to finding good places to rest without wasting time or energy at the end of each stage.

We did the section between Rijeka and Zadar by bus. It's an area with a lot of traffic, narrow shoulders, and constant traffic towards Croatia. We decided not to force a stage that didn't add anything to the trip.

The leg through Slovenia is the most basic in terms of services. There are fewer options to buy food or water, so it's advisable to plan ahead, although it doesn't represent a major difficulty if you pay attention.

The arrival in Split nicely concludes the journey, not only because of the surroundings but also because of the ease of return. Ferry connections allow for a hassle-free return to Barcelona, which adds many practical points to the route.

A long journey, designed to enjoy the path, adapt to whatever appears, and keep moving forward with no other pretension than that. We like those trips where you can adapt the kilometers and elevation gain to your needs.
